Tax on smokeless tobacco

I was always led to believe that the tax on tobacco was there to deter people from smoking. Snuff costs more to buy because it is half water and we have to pay air freight as well as loosing in the US/Aust dollar. If smokeless tobacco is 98% safer than smoking tobacco, how can they justify this high tax. They can't which is why they blame the World Health Organisation.

I still buy my snuff from America and hang the expense. It is my health and no government is going to dictate to me how I live my life. I will guarantee that most of them would never laid eyes on a can of snuff in their lives and really don't care about the health of you and me.
I sent me a letter to my local member asking why we have to pay over $300 per kilo of tobacco when it is much safer than smoking tobacco and he said it was to make the tax gathering easier at customs. How sick is that.

I'm mad about this tax, I couldn't believe our government would do this to us and wanted to say in Australia a can of Snuff cost you three time more then a pack of cigarettes.

Best article content and visual appeal make it one of the top blog on this sphere. I personally do not believe anybody might have written it better than this buddy. It's great to observe how the pictures are every time the correct size. Once you begin reading you could not give up. Organization of the content is what I enjoy mainly. Clean written NO technical mumbo jumbo NO crazy words this is the method articles must be written. The great thing is how the site is considered for public appliance and not particularly for the technical geek. The technical knowledge of this site writer is incomparable. The videos included in the site make it even more entertaining. The author does not beat around the bush, he gets upright to the point. The author does not take sides instead explains both sides of the argument perfectly. There's a precise feel about the blog that i enjoy very. Thought provoking is every article on the blog. What I like is the attention to detail this blog has to present.
